Terms

To protect both you and DenizenMC, every purchase and commission is covered by these Terms of Service.

By purchasing, downloading or commissioning any DenizenMC product, you agree to these Terms and to the terms of the marketplace you purchased from. Breaking either gives us the right to revoke your license, remove your Discord roles and refuse future sales or support.

These terms can change

Terms may be updated at any time without prior notice, so check back occasionally. Continuing to use a product after an update means you accept the current version. Last updated: 25 September 2026.

Marketplace agreements

We sell on BuiltByBit and PixelEast. Every purchase is also bound by that marketplace's own rules, which take priority for anything about payments, disputes or your account there.

These Terms cover everything specific to our products. Anything not addressed here falls under the marketplace's terms.

License

A purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product on your own projects, personal or commercial. You don't own the product.
The license is tied to the marketplace account you bought with. If you lose access to that account, we can't transfer or re-issue it.
You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, share or upload the product, in whole or in part, including jars, source files, configs and assets. This applies even if you give it away for free.
Only people actively working on your project may access the product. You're responsible for anyone you share it with.
You may not decompile, modify or repackage a product to remove licensing, attribution or author information.
You may not use the DenizenMC name or our product branding in your own server names, advertising or storefronts.

Source code access

If we share a product's source code with you, or release it publicly in the future, that code is covered by the license it's shared or published with. These Terms still apply to purchases, support and reviews.

Payments & refunds

All sales are digital and final. We don't issue refunds directly.
Any refund request must go through the marketplace you bought from, and is decided under that marketplace's own policy.
Opening a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us first immediately revokes your license and support access.

Support

Support covers the product as sold: installation, configuration and genuine bugs.
It doesn't cover new features, custom modifications, conflicts with third-party plugins, or unsupported server software and versions.
Be respectful and reasonable. Abusive or excessive demands may result in support being refused.

Reviews

Reviews must be honest, factual and about the product, not a bug report or support request. Follow the review rules of the marketplace you bought from.

One review per user, per product, reflecting the latest version.
Reviews can't be exchanged for anything, such as a rating in return, a discount or extra support.
Use Support for bugs and questions. We can't help you through a review.

Leaked and redistributed copies

Leaked, cracked or redistributed copies are never supported, and asking about one results in a ban from our Discord.
Leaked copies often contain malware or backdoors. We aren't responsible for any damage caused by an unofficial copy.
We may take action against redistribution, including reports to the marketplace and hosting providers.

Commissions

Graphic commissions include reasonable revisions. Work well beyond the original brief is quoted separately.
Pricing is agreed before work begins. Payment terms are confirmed per commission.
Finished work remains copyrighted to DenizenMC until paid in full. After payment you may use it for its agreed purpose. We may show it in our portfolio unless agreed otherwise.

Liability

Products are provided as is. We make a reasonable effort to fix bugs and keep documentation accurate, but we don't guarantee any product is error-free or suited to your specific setup. Always keep backups. To the extent permitted by law, DenizenMC isn't liable for data loss, downtime or other damage arising from use of a product.

Breaking any of these Terms, or the terms of the marketplace you bought from, is treated the same way: we may revoke your license, remove your Discord roles, and refuse future purchases or support, without refund.
